What is 240 GSM and Why Does It Matter?
GSM (grams per square meter) measures fabric weight. The higher the GSM, the heavier and more durable the tee.
- 140-160 GSM: regular t-shirts
- 180 GSM: "premium" budget tees - still thin
- 200-220 GSM: mid-tier streetwear
- 240 GSM: heavy streetwear standard - our base

Combed Cotton vs Regular Cotton
Combed cotton is regular cotton that's been combed to remove short fibers and impurities. The result: smoother feel, less pilling, more durable, softer on skin. Every Cockroach tee uses 100% combed cotton - no polyester blends, no synthetic shortcuts.
Bio-Washed and Pre-Shrunk
Bio-washing uses enzymes to remove fuzz from the fabric surface, giving that lived-in softness from day one. Pre-shrinking eliminates the 5-7% shrinkage you would normally get on the first wash.
Plastisol Screen Print - 50+ Wash Cycles
Every Cockroach graphic is screen-printed with plastisol ink, cured at high temperature. Plastisol bonds with the fabric and stays crack-resistant for 50+ machine washes when cared for properly.
